Aplik has developed distinctive technologies that have been applied to their projects. These technologies constitute the most important asset for Aplik. While other companies have among their most important assets, real estate, stock shares, or machinery and equipments, Aplik has technology.
This explains why Aplik protects, maintains and permanently updates its technology. At the moment of planning and setting a project is a great advantage to count on a technology that deals with the problem and that has already made an advance for the solution.
Also, the technology used on our projects is improved every time we run a new one, so the clients perceive a solution provider that knows profoundly the problem at hand.
One of the typical errors is to believe that the technologies are a group of programs, plans or designs that provide an "ephemeral" advantage. And that by only copying some files, the entire competitive advantage could be transferred to someone else. Fortunately, to make this advantage become real, is not an illusion. Aplik technologies are more like a process because they are in a continuous evolution, they have industrial applications and their economic output is monitored day to day in the relationship with our clients. There are people who are involved in their maintenance and application. This is the big difference with just simple drawings and programs.

CSQA stands as an acronym for Cathode Surface Quality Analyzer.
This technology is based on the use of electronic cameras that capture the image of a moving cathode. This image is processed by means of algorithms that determine quality of each cathode. Depending on this quality assessment, different actions are taken, like classifying the inspected cathode. The most important assesments of this technology are the high speed identification and assesment of their characteristics (such as nodules, stains and roughness). This has been done with a variety set of techniques, including algorithms optimization, based on a deep knowledge of the processors being used. More Information.
For the implementation and development of the project "Magnetic permeability measuring device", Aplik had to develop a way of measurement based on physics. Also, we developed an especial technology to measure very small movements minimizing mechanical vibrations and electric noise, no doubt, a very highly reusable component on development proccess, because those measurements situations are widely seen.
As part of a further stage, after the inspection of copper cathodes, Aplik has developed a technology to handle data together with a way to trace copper cathodes and blanks. This data handling is aimed to provide relevant information to help reduce processing costs and an improvement in the quality of the copper cathodes.
