Operation of CSQA at Spence

Sistema de Inspección de Cátodos de Cobre instalado en Spence In the picture animation sequence you can watch an up-down scan performed by the CSQA scanning system placed at Spence. This takes less than 4[s]. The picture is digitalized into 4.5 millions pixels for each of the three basic color components. That mean that every pixel measures 0.5[mm] a side. So, more than 12[Megabytes] for each picture are processed in 3[s]. A report is generated and the data is sent to the Stripping Machine to direct the cathode to the approved or rejected stacks.

When the next cathode goes in, the scan will be done down-up.
